Description

Area 6 is located at Sahlgrenska Hospital. The area has over 2,000 employees specializing in Medicine (Pulmonology/Allergology, Cardiology/Thorax, Neurocare, and Infectious Diseases). The area provides both outpatient and inpatient care, national care, regional care, and county care.

Research and education are conducted across all operations.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for you who want to work as a Business Developer and be a driving force in the area's and operations' strategic quality and patient safety work. As a Business Developer, you report directly to the Development Manager at the area level and belong to the Development Unit. You will work cross-area but also be linked to a specific operational area.

You will be part of an area-level team working with patient safety and quality. Based on established goals, you will initiate, drive, implement, and coordinate the development of operations' work with quality and patient safety, as well as drive improvement work. You will work actively with deviation management and support and lead the work with risk and incident analyses. You will also work with care processes related to patient safety, quality, and digital implementation. The role of Business Developer offers excellent opportunities to deepen your expertise in process work and systematic quality work.

You will work closely with the Development Manager, Operations Manager, Nursing Manager, and other Business Developers on joint assignments.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a suitable healthcare education at the university or college level. Education and knowledge in business development, improvement science, risk analysis, and incident analysis are highly meritorious. You have a holistic mindset and can translate goals and visions into concrete actions. You have the ability to drive and develop operations from a patient perspective while simultaneously inspiring employees to participate through continuous improvements. You also possess the endurance required to achieve set goals. You are accustomed to taking initiative, working independently, and are creative and innovative by nature.

Basic skills in digital systems, such as the deviation system Med Control Pro, the National IT Tool for Incident Analyses (NITHA), Power BI reports, and the monitoring tool Plan och Styr, are meritorious. Postgraduate studies are also considered meritorious.

You also have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.
