The Digitalization and IT Department, part of the Municipal Executive Office in Mölndal, consists of a secretariat, two teams (Digitalization and IT Security), and two units (Development and Administration, and IT Operations and Support). In total, we have approximately 47 employees whose mission is to work both strategically and operationally to drive digitalization forward, ensure cyber security, and guarantee a well-functioning digital infrastructure in the city.

We are now looking for a Digitalization Business Developer for the Digitalization and IT Department for a fixed-term contract of one year. 1 position.

Responsibilities

As a Digitalization Business Developer, you will actively work with Mölndal Municipality's overarching digitalization strategy, our digital innovation work, and environmental scanning.

You will also:

• Support the departments' business development and digitalization advisory roles
• Act as a methodological support within business development methods such as innovation, process methodology, and benefit realization
• Support or lead the city's preparatory groups and projects
• Support innovative and digital development within the city
• Inspire and support operations when implementing digital solutions
• Support the work of improving and streamlining operational processes
• Assist operations in conducting benefit analyses and needs assessments
• Support operations and provide training in Mölndal Municipality's portfolio management system support
• Act as an internal consultant for operation-specific development assignments
• Participate actively in various forums within the Digitalization and IT Department and in Mölndal Municipality's operations regarding digitalization issues
• Participate actively in various networks and forums with other municipalities and authorities on digitalization issues and collaboration.

Qualifications

For this position, we are looking for you who have a university degree in fields such as IT and digitalization, public administration, or other education/work experience that the employer deems relevant for the assignment. You have experience working with change management, project management, and/or business development.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience working with business development, process development, and agile methods. It is also advantageous if you have competence in procurement and the Public Procurement Act (LOU), and if you have previously worked in a politically governed organization.

As a person, you have high drive and good initiative. You are organized and engaged, and you easily create long-term relationships with good pedagogical skills. You have good communication skills and create conditions for a clear and efficient working style for yourself and your surroundings. Being flexible and enjoying change work is a given for us. You seek and seize opportunities to think differently in work-related contexts and have the ability to translate this into practice. You keep up to date through environmental scanning and regularly reflect on what needs to be developed in your operations.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer, start: As soon as possible according to agreement. The position is a one-year substitute position.
