We are now looking for a teacher of English and Swedish or Swedish as a second language for Minnebergsskolan in Arvika.

About the School

Minnebergsskolan is a newly built upper secondary school located in the city center of Arvika. It is an upper secondary school adapted to each student's needs. The school offers safe spaces for recovery, community, activities, and relationship building.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

  • Qualification as a teacher in English and Swedish or Swedish as a second language.
  • Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Good computer skills.

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Previous experience in mentorship.

Responsibilities

As a teacher of English and Swedish or Swedish as a second language at Minnebergsskolan, you will:

  • Be a mentor for a group of students and work as a subject teacher in a work team.
  • Plan, teach, and assess in Swedish and English or Swedish as a second language.

We work in a Google environment, and all students have access to their own Chromebook.
