We are now looking for a teacher for the after-school center (fritidshem) for the autumn term at Hammarlunden F-6.

Job Description

Hammarlunden School F-6 is a school with approximately 660 students. As a teacher for the after-school center, you work within the after-school program and the consolidated school day. Here, you have the opportunity to contribute to the students' development together with the rest of the after-school staff, as well as to develop our operations.

Your main task is to plan, implement, and develop the after-school activities in collaboration with other staff, based on our governing documents. Your duties during the school day may vary depending on your qualifications and the students' needs. You will be part of a teaching team where you are expected to actively contribute with a solution- and results-oriented approach, keeping the students' needs at the center.

Employment type: Fixed-term position (substitute) for the autumn term 2026.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a pedagogical education for after-school centers, schools, or preschools. We assume that you stand firmly in the school's value base and can implement the curriculum with high quality. You should be a clear and positive leader in the group of children, with the ability to create a good and accessible learning environment. You have an exploratory approach to work and strive for inclusive solutions with the goal of students being active participants in their learning.

We place great importance on personal suitability, and your work should be characterized by curiosity, warmth, and conscious choices. We want you to describe your abilities in meeting with the student, in leadership, and in collaboration with others in your application and during a potential interview.

From experience, we know that the ability to analyze and reflect on one's own efforts and the content of the operations is of great importance for quality. Therefore, it is important that you can reflect on the content of the operations and your implementation. We assume that you have good collaboration skills, the willingness, and the ability to participate in the systematic quality work of the after-school center and the school.

Experience from working in preschool class, after-school centers, and primary/secondary school is meritorious.

The selection process begins after the last application date, and we intend to conduct interviews during week 31.
