At Norrstrandsskolan, we are currently looking for two teachers in English and Swedish for grades 7–9 who wish to play a vital role in students' development and have the opportunity to make a difference in their lives. Qualifications in French or Spanish are desirable. The positions are permanent and full-time (100 %).

Norrstrandsskolan has approximately 800 students from grade 4 to 9. The school is centrally located in Norrstrand, close to Sundsta Idrottshus. For the past 30 years, Norrstrandsskolan has offered a music profile. At our school, we place great emphasis on promoting and preventive work regarding student health. Responsibilities

As a teacher in grades 7–9, your main task is to develop students' knowledge and skills based on the curriculum and each student's individual needs and prerequisites. You plan teaching by setting goals, selecting methods and materials, and preparing lessons. Together with the students, you evaluate the teaching to constantly strive to improve instruction, student learning, and your own professional development. You will teach Swedish and English, and potentially French or Spanish depending on your qualifications.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a teaching license and qualifications in Swedish and English for grades 7–9. Qualifications in French or Spanish are considered an advantage.

We are looking for someone who is independent and takes responsibility for planning, implementing, and following up on your work in a structured manner. You are goal- and result-oriented and actively work to develop students' knowledge and achieve set goals.

You have a good ability to create and develop relationships with both students, guardians, and colleagues, and contribute to a positive and inclusive work climate.

Furthermore, you have pedagogical insight and adapt your teaching based on students' different needs and prerequisites. You are clear in your communication and create structure and security in the classroom, which contributes to a good study environment and favorable conditions for learning.
