Description

We are looking for a substitute vocational teacher for the Vehicle Programme at Taserud Gymnasium.

Responsibilities

You will teach students in vocational subjects within the Vehicle and Transport Programme. You will be part of a work team, collaborating closely with colleagues while also working independently. Mentoring duties are included. You will work with the school's mission according to the curriculum, including values-based work.

This is a substitute position for the upcoming academic year, running from August 11, 2026, to June 17, 2027.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are or wish to become a vocational teacher within the Vehicle and Transport Programme, and who have knowledge in the areas included in the programme's courses. Great importance is placed on personal suitability, as well as your ability to organize, collaborate, and adapt teaching to the student group.

It is meritorious if you have teacher certification or previous experience in teaching within the field. Good knowledge of vehicle electronics is also required.

You must have good proficiency in spoken and written Swedish.

As a person, you are engaged, structured, and solution-focused. You are a clear leader with the ability to adapt teaching and build good relationships. Good IT skills are a prerequisite, which you should also be able to utilize in teaching. You see the school as a whole where we all share a common responsibility for the students' development and learning.

A B-class driver's license is a requirement for the position.
