Grums Municipality consists of eight municipal preschools led by two principals who work closely together, focusing on equality and quality in education. Here, you will have excellent conditions to be close to the children and contribute to their development and learning in a safe and stimulating environment.

We are now looking for a preschool teacher for a temporary position from September 2026 to June 2027 at Borgvik Preschool.

Borgvik Preschool is located just outside central Grums and consists of one unit with children aged 1–5 years. Here, you will work together with a preschool teacher and a preschool assistant in a work team with close collaboration in daily work. All meals are prepared on-site by our nutrition and facility manager.

Job Responsibilities

Your duties as a preschool teacher include, among other things:

• Plan, implement, follow up, and evaluate teaching in accordance with the preschool curriculum.
• Adapt education and use various communication channels to meet the needs of all children.
• Collaborate with special needs educators in pedagogical work.
• Create a stimulating, safe, and educational environment.
• Contribute to the development of the operations and learning environments in collaboration with the work team, based on the curriculum.
• Work systematically with documentation, observation, reflection, and analysis using the documentation tool Tyra.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified preschool teacher. A B-driver's license and access to a private car are required.

You have a good ability to see and meet children's different needs based on their individual prerequisites. You value good communication highly in your interactions with children, within the work team, and in contact with guardians.

Commitment to the role and a desire to develop in your professional role together with colleagues are important parts. You thrive in an operation characterized by responsibility-taking, flexibility, and collaboration.

As a person, you are sensitive, humble, and confident in your professional role with a professional approach. You maintain your calm even in situations that require flexibility and structure.

In our operations, all individuals to be employed to work with children and young people must, according to law (2000:873), present a approved extract from the criminal record (work within school and preschool).
