In the autumn term of 2026, we open the doors to our newly built and modern school in beautiful Vallargärdet. After two years of waiting, our lovely school is finally ready—a place where learning, community, and hope for the future go hand in hand. The new school features a full-size sports hall integrated into the building, and on the ground floor, we have the privilege of hosting Vallargärdet's preschool, which opens up opportunities for natural meetings and fruitful collaboration between the educational levels.

As a small F-6 school, we offer a safe and family-like environment where everyone is seen. We have a strong sense of 'we' that permeates the entire operation, from students and guardians to staff. Our teaching is based on a value base where safety, respect, and student influence are central, and we actively work with equal treatment and inclusion. Here, you will meet a dedicated and experienced collegium that values collaboration, creativity, and collegial development work.

Responsibilities

As a teacher, you will plan, implement, document, and evaluate teaching in accordance with regulatory documents. You will maintain contact and close collaboration with students' guardians regarding the students' development towards the goals. You will be part of a work team with several experienced and dedicated teachers teaching in grades F-6. Within the team, there is a special needs teacher with whom you will collaborate closely. You will participate in the school's development and quality work together with colleagues based on selected school development areas.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a teaching license for grades 4-6, as the position includes mentorship for grades 4-6. It is an advantage if you also have the qualification to teach at the lower primary level and if you have diabetes knowledge.

As a person, you take responsibility for your teaching and drive the work forward in a safe and independent manner, while also knowing when to involve others. In a school day that often changes, you can adapt your planning and approach based on the students' needs and the premises of the operation, without losing focus on the goals.

You actively contribute to good collaboration with colleagues, student health services, and guardians, and see the value of creating an equitable and developmental learning environment for the students together. In your work, you plan, organize, and follow up on teaching in a way that creates clarity and predictability for the students, and you have the ability to prioritize and create structure even when the pace is fast.
