At Skåreskolan, we are currently looking for a music and physical education teacher for grades 4–6 who wants to play a vital role in the students' development and have the opportunity to make a difference in their lives.

Approximately 200 students from grades 3 to 6 attend Skåreskolan. On our school, it is important that every student feels well and is treated with respect. We focus on creating good learning environments and train students to be involved in the planning of the teaching. We strive to create a sense of community at the school and for students to get to know each other across class boundaries.

Responsibilities

As a music and physical education teacher for grades 4–6, your main task is to develop students' knowledge and skills based on the curriculum and each student's individual needs and prerequisites. You plan the teaching by setting goals, choosing methods and materials, and preparing lessons. Together with the students, you evaluate the teaching to always strive to improve the teaching, student learning, and your professional development.

Qualifications

We are primarily looking for you with a teacher's license in music and physical education for grades 4–6. You are also welcome to apply if you have a license in only one of the subjects.

As a person, we see that you are self-reliant and take responsibility for planning, implementing, and developing your teaching in a structured and efficient manner. You have good cooperation skills and actively contribute to a positive work climate together with colleagues, students, and guardians. Furthermore, you are relationship-building and have an easy time building trusting relationships, which creates security and engagement among your students. Your pedagogical insight enables you to adapt the teaching based on the students' different needs and prerequisites and stimulate their development and learning in the best possible way.
