Description

Stjärnskolan is a newly built primary school (grades F–3) with approximately 300 students and 55 employees. The school is multicultural, and we actively work with core values and language development to create a safe and educational environment for our students. Here, you will receive good support from colleagues and a student health team consisting of a counselor, school nurse, and special education teacher. The management consists of the principal and the deputy principal.

We are now looking for a mother tongue teacher in Kurdish (Kurmanji) for the primary school.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for mother tongue instruction in grades 1–3.

The position includes:

• Planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching.
• Working towards the best possible goal achievement for our students.
• Creating a good learning environment.
• Working and documenting in the existing operational systems.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with good knowledge of Kurdish (Kurmanji) and Swedish, as well as pedagogical experience or education.

You have a professional approach, are engaged in working with the students, and contribute to their development towards meeting the goals.

You are responsible and build good relationships with both students, colleagues, and guardians. You have good collaboration skills and a positive attitude.

Conditions

The position is a hourly-based appointment with 1–2 hours of teaching time per week. Work within the school requires presentation of a valid certificate of good conduct.
