We are now looking for a Physical Education teacher for instruction at Minneberg School. Minneberg School is a newly built school located in the center of Arvika. It is a lower secondary school adapted to each student's needs. There are safe spaces for recovery, community, activities, and relationship building.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role of physical education teacher, we see that you have:

• Qualification as a teacher in physical education and health, and hold a teaching license.
• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills.

It is also meritorious if you as a physical education teacher also have:

• Previous experience in mentoring.

To thrive in the role of physical education teacher, we see that as a person you have good leadership skills, are quick to laugh, and want to go to work to learn new things yourself and for the students every day. Creating positive meetings with students, parents, and colleagues is important to us and to you. You view collegial learning positively with a focus on leadership, relationships, and the subject. At the school, you will be part of close collaboration with your work team, and we are therefore looking for you who have good cooperation skills. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

Responsibilities

As a physical education teacher at Minneberg School, you are responsible for:

• Mentoring a group of students in grades 7–9 and working as a subject teacher in a work team.
• Planning, teaching, and assessing physical education for grades 7–9.
• Writing comments, individual development plans, assessments, and other documentation that becomes a natural part of your teaching.

At Minneberg School, we work in a Google environment, and all students have their own Chromebook.
