Your workplace

Klarälvdalen Folk High School in Sunne operates in beautiful new premises at Selmagården in Sunne. This unit offers the Nurse Assistant program, General Course, and the College Year. The work group consists of teachers who teach on the various courses.

The Principal and Deputy Principal alternate between the school's units. Teachers and participants from the school's other units visit the premises occasionally. The premises also include conference rooms that are rented out within the region.

Folk High School is a fantastic and inspiring environment. We offer meetings with participants where you, in your profession, help them achieve their study goals.

The position is a permanent full-time employment.

Your responsibilities

You will teach subjects that form the basis of the vocational package in the Nurse Assistant program. We collaborate with universities and the Erasmus exchange program of the Swedish Council for Higher Education; work within internationalization is part of the role.

The position includes course responsibility, administration, teaching, method exercises, as well as participating in meetings and staff days.

Your knowledge and competencies

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with good knowledge of both Swedish and English. We would appreciate it if you had experience as a care teacher or equivalent. Being a folk high school teacher or having other pedagogical experience is meritorious. Since the position may involve travel, you need to have a Category B driver's license.

You are clear, precise, and well aware of goals and quality standards, where you also contribute ideas and solutions. You have pedagogical insight through your ability to convey knowledge in a clear and adapted manner, and you can inspire and lead others.
