Job Description
Uddevalla Municipality's NIKE (Youth) program targets young people aged 16–20 who have not completed compulsory school or upper secondary school, are at risk of dropping out of upper secondary school, or are unemployed. Participants join NIKE through the upper secondary school's introduction program (IM). The long-term goal is to help the young person return to studies or find sustainable employment. The NIKE team consists of four employees, one of whom has a coordination role. In addition, teachers from the upper secondary school are linked to the operation.
Responsibilities
NIKE works with development through guidance and processes for daily routines, strengthening self-image and trust in one's own abilities, as well as building a network for future choices of education and work. You will work with individual solutions focused on the student's study situation.

- You have a flexible working style, good teamwork skills, and a willingness to work with young people facing various challenges.
- You have a good ability to work both independently and in a team.
Qualifications
- University degree in behavioral sciences, such as Social Work (Social Worker), Social Pedagogy, Behavioral Science, Study and Career Guidance, or a University College degree with a focus on social pedagogy or similar.
- Experience working with young people in upper secondary schools, social services, labor market departments, or similar operations.
- Experience working with students in need of special support.
- Experience in social work with people in marginalized situations.
- Good ability to work based on the specific needs of the student.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Valid B-driver's license and driving experience.
