The Employment Unit (AME) in Härryda Municipality is organized within the business area Härryda Future. Härryda Future aims to have the highest percentage of employed residents in Sweden. Through Härryda Future, various functions within social services, education, and business collaborate so that all residents of Härryda Municipality can support themselves.

AME is a service provider that implements decided authority decisions and works on assignments from referring agencies. In addition to employment case officers, AME’s team consists of a unit manager, coordinator, business coordinator, teacher, supervisor, and administrator.

Participants are referred to AME primarily from the municipality’s social assistance unit, but cases may also come from the upper secondary school, the coordination association, the municipality’s adult education unit, and others. The unit is also responsible for coordinating the municipality’s holiday internships, youth jobs, and youth services.

AME is currently in the midst of implementing a new work approach that is process-based to increase efficiency. A vital part of the new work approach is the BIP research, which is a comprehensive Danish study. AME is also preparing for the implementation of the Activity Requirement, which will start during the year. This assignment will also be incorporated into the new work approach.

We are now looking for an employment case officer to join our team who is knowledgeable about the BIP research and has experience working with participant progression based on it.

Your Assignment

AME’s employment case officers are "key persons" regarding participant progression and assigned activities according to established processes.

As an employment case officer, you coach adults and young people based on the referring agency’s assignment and the participants' individual needs. You work with participants in both individual conversations and group activities.

The work as an employment case officer is based on results from the BIP research, as well as ACT and JMT where specified in the case process. MI (Motivational Interviewing) and a coaching approach are applied in contact with all participants.

A vital part of the assignment is collaboration with colleagues, partners, and authorities.

The assignment includes a documentation requirement.

Requirements for the Position

We are looking for you who:

• Have a 3-year post-secondary education that the employer finds relevant.
• Have experience as a case officer within the employment sector.
• Are well-versed in the BIP research and able to apply it in your work.
• Have good documentation skills.
• Have a valid driver’s license (Category B).

Meritorious qualifications include:

• Education and experience in using the methods: ACT, JMT, and MI.
• Experience from working in a municipal employment unit.

To obtain employment, an extract from the Police’s criminal record register must be presented. An extract from the suspicion register may also be required depending on the position.
