Supporta Omsorg Ånnerud HVB is looking for dedicated treatment pedagogues for our new treatment unit. We work with young people aged 16 to 20 who have substance abuse issues and early-stage criminal behavior, often in combination with mental health challenges and neuropsychiatric disabilities.

As part of our care chain – from emergency units and treatment facilities to supported housing – we offer a safe and structured treatment environment where the goal is for each young person to achieve sobriety, strengthen their motivation for change, and develop the prerequisites for a sustainable and independent life.

We are now launching a new treatment unit and are looking for you who want to be involved from the start. You will have the opportunity to contribute to building the operations within an existing and proven concept, together with dedicated colleagues and management, and help develop a business that truly makes a difference.

Job Description:

Your duties include actively working on issues described in the young person's implementation plan in accordance with established goals. This includes regular individual conversations, weekly meetings, reflection sessions, and mapping conversations. Your tasks also involve helping the young person strengthen protective factors and minimize risk factors, as well as participating in and leading group program activities scheduled several days a week. The role also involves supporting the young person in developing good mental and physical health, maintaining sobriety during their placement, and providing the best possible conditions for a sober and substance-free life. Documentation is an important part of the work, which also includes common household chores.

Working hours are according to schedule, covering days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications:

A minimum of a two-year post-secondary education in social work is required. You should have experience from similar operations, such as HVB homes or schools. You must be able to work independently and handle stress. You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as well as comprehension.

You must have a valid B-driver's license.

Merits:

Competence in the field of substance abuse care/treatment and cognitive behavioral therapy.

Knowledge and experience of substance dependency.

Competence in treatment related to criminal behavior.

Experience with motivational interviewing.

Experience working with and managing groups.

You should be able to engage our young people and contribute to a work climate characterized by openness and joy in work. You have a non-hierarchical attitude and are mature as a person, capable of balancing external demands from managers, colleagues, and the goals and needs of the young people. You possess good social competence with a high degree of energy and willingness.

Employment:

The position is a permanent full-time employment, starting with a six-month probation period. Start date by agreement.
