Description

The Unit for Social Workers and Dietitians consists of 28 positions distributed among social workers, dietitians, and rehabilitation coordinators. The field of work spans clinics and wards within somatic healthcare at Skaraborg Hospital (SkAS) and involves contact with both patients and relatives. As a social worker, you provide psychosocial competence and work to meet the need for social work interventions for patients and relatives, such as counseling, advice on economic and practical matters, and referrals to various societal functions/authorities when needed. Digital healthcare meetings, the development of contact channels, and digital information for patients are necessary and development-oriented tasks within the unit to meet current and future accessibility needs.

Responsibilities

Standard social work tasks, including various types of conversations and support regarding psychosocial issues that affect well-being and functioning in the context of somatic care. The position involves support for several operational areas. The foundation is that psychosocial work is overarching and can be performed in all areas and diagnoses.

Qualifications

A university degree in social work, licensed as a healthcare social worker. Experience with or knowledge of Step 1 competence is meritorious.
