Your role

As a support assistant, you provide individual support based on the individual's needs, goals, and implementation plans. You work to strengthen independence, participation, and quality of life through a pedagogical and motivating approach.

The work includes, among other things:

• providing individual support in daily life based on LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and implementation plans
• creating structure, security, and predictability
• motivating and supporting the individual to develop their own abilities
• collaborating with relatives, colleagues, and other professions
• documenting and following up on interventions
• contributing to the development of the activity and a good work climate.

We work from a low-affective and pedagogical approach where respect, participation, and the individual's resources are at the center.

Who are you?

You are a person who:

• creates security and builds trusting relationships
• sees people's resources and opportunities
• is responsible and has good collaboration skills
• works in a structured manner but can adapt when the situation requires it
• is sensitive, unpretentious, and reflects on your own working methods
• has patience and the ability to motivate others
• wants to develop together with your colleagues and contribute to a good work environment.

You have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing and are accustomed to working digitally, as documentation is an important part of the assignment.

Qualifications

We would like you to have education relevant for work within LSS, for example, the Care and Nursing program, Child and Youth program, support pedagogical education, or other education that the employer considers equivalent.

If you have a different educational background but experience working with people with disabilities or similar target groups, you are also welcome to apply.

Experience of work within LSS is meritorious, as is knowledge of clarifying pedagogy, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and low-affective treatment.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Information

Working hours: Scheduled working hours during the day, evening, weekend, and night with sleeping on-call duty.

In accordance with the law (2026:43) on register checks, the candidate offered employment will need to present extracts from the criminal record and suspicion register before employment.
