About the job

We are now looking for an engaged and responsible social secretary to the Adult Unit, Harmful Use and Addiction at SF South West. You will work in a collaborative team that values a good working environment and collegial responsibility. You will meet individuals with complex issues, comorbidities, who need support, motivation, and guidance, aiming to promote health and a dignified life for the individual.

As a social secretary, your main tasks will include investigation and assessment of entitlement to assistance within harmful use and addiction, as well as planning and implementation of individually adapted interventions. Your work will also include documentation and follow-up of interventions. An important part of your work is the collaboration you will have with social services, the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, healthcare, housing providers, and other actors for the individual.

We value a structured approach and that you are empathetic in your interaction, so that you can build trust and good communication with the individual. You have an important role in supporting and guiding individuals who find themselves in difficult situations.

About you

We are looking for you who have a degree in Social Work (Social Work).

We consider it meritorious if you have experience in authority exercises, preferably within harmful use and addiction. We also consider it meritorious if you have previous experience in planning and implementation of interventions, documentation and follow-up of interventions, as well as collaborations with external actors such as healthcare and the Swedish Prison and Probation Service.

You need to be a person who takes responsibility for your work and always puts the individual in focus. You also need to have the ability to build trust and good relationships, which is crucial in your meeting with the individual who is in a difficult situation. Since the work involves a lot of collaboration with other professions both internally and externally, we see that you need to have an organized and flexible approach to catch up with and handle the different challenges that arise.

The intended salary range for the position is 37,500–49,500 SEK per month. The salary is based on a combined assessment of your education, experience, and competencies you bring into the role. The Social Administration South West is one of four social administrations in the City of Gothenburg with around 900 employees. In the southern city area, approximately 120,000 residents live, and the area stretches from Billdal to Högsbohöjd and to the southern archipelago.
