ABOUT US

The purpose of the operation is to offer safe and pleasant housing in apartment form, where the support aims to promote the individual's ability to live independently and remain in their home, as well as providing a path to as self-sufficient a life as possible. The goal is to meet the individual's physical, psychological, and social support needs based on the assistance decision. Interventions are adapted to the individual's own abilities, with the starting point being to achieve increased participation in society. Energivägen's supported housing works with the individual at the center and high user influence. We have a strong belief in our residents and always encourage new initiatives and suggestions.

We offer you the opportunity to work in a highly competent operation, where your future colleagues have relevant education and possess varied professional competence and work experience within social work. We work according to methods such as MI, LAB, and CM/VSS to support the tenant in the best possible way. Every week, scheduled collegial method support and regular external supervision are offered. The work group has a flat hierarchy, and we want to preserve our non-hierarchical atmosphere where we care for each other.

The housing facility consists of fifteen apartments with sublease contracts and one on-call apartment. We have a common house with a shared kitchen and living room for our tenants, staff rooms, and two small bedrooms for sleeping on-call staff. In the common outdoor area, there is a pergola with flowers and a coffee table, a barbecue area, and lawns to use. The housing is centrally located in Kungälv, close to bus transportation.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a housing assistant, you have close cooperation with social services, primary healthcare, and psychiatric outpatient/inpatient care. Together with a colleague, you are the contact person for tenants and therefore an important support during the tenancy period. Your work aims to strengthen and support the individual tenant to take responsibility for their own life process through structured support and motivational conversations. You are responsible for creating and following up on partial reports, final reports, and implementation plans.

As a housing assistant, you work daily to motivate and inspire our tenants to participate in meaningful daily life. You also work practically with tasks such as cleaning, preparing the on-call apartment, accompanying residents on errands, some cooking, etc.

WHO ARE YOU?

We are looking for you who are an engaged and relationship-building social pedagogue, social worker, or with other education deemed equivalent. An attentive approach, great personal maturity, and the ability to create a safe and calm environment are of great importance. You have the ability to set appropriate boundaries, create clarity and structure in everyday life. You are structured and have good cooperation skills, while also appreciating independent work. You are comfortable maintaining and driving contacts with, among others, social services and other authorities. You are practical and not afraid to step in where needed.

It is meritorious if you have previous experience working with people with substance use disorders and mental illness, homelessness, and social exclusion. It is also meritorious if you have documented education and experience in MI, LAB, and CM/VSS. As a colleague, you are an important puzzle piece in a good work environment, and having a desire to contribute to the development of the operation is a prerequisite.

Driving is included in the position, which means you need to have a B-driver's license and enjoy driving for work. You also need to have good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, as there are regularly extensive documentation tasks. It is a prerequisite that you can work with IT tools and have good computer skills.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Position level approx. 70% with a rolling six-week schedule. You work scheduled hours including days, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call duty. No scheduled solo work.

An extract from the suspicion and criminal record register is a requirement before employment can be granted.
