Data protection work in a municipal organization spans many operations, processes, and personal data flows. In this role, you step in as a Data Protection Officer (DPO) with overarching responsibility for keeping things together and driving the work forward within public administration. You act as expert support to data protection coordinators in various parts of the operations and become a key contact in matters concerning compliance, incident management, and practical guidance in everyday life.

You will enter an environment where data protection needs to function both strategically and operationally. It is about creating security in the organization, supporting operations in complex assessments, and contributing to personal data being handled in a structured and responsible manner. • You maintain the role of Data Protection Officer and drive data protection work at an overarching level.
• You provide expert support and advice to data protection coordinators and other parts of the operations regarding data protection matters.
• You handle and follow up on incidents related to personal data.
• You support operations in interpreting and applying data protection issues in daily work.
• You contribute to a structured approach to compliance across several administrations and functions.
• You help create clarity on how data protection work is conducted and coordinated within the organization.

• Experience as a Data Protection Officer
• Experience from municipal operations and/or public administration
• Good competence in data protection matters
• Well-developed communication skills
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
