The Legal Affairs Division of the County Administrative Board is seeking 1–3 law students for fixed-term positions located at the Business and Security Supervision Unit.

We are looking for law students who have completed at least two terms of their studies.
The County Administrative Board acts as a supervisory authority under the Money Laundering Act and the Act on Measures against the Financing of Terrorism. Our supervisory mandate involves ensuring that the operators we supervise are personally suitable and actively working to counter the risks of being involved in or exploited for money laundering or the financing of terrorism.
What does the role involve?
In the role of case handler, you will strengthen the work of increasing risk awareness regarding exploitation for money laundering or the financing of terrorism. You will be part of the Legal Affairs Division, placed at the Business and Security Supervision Unit.
Your main tasks will include handling proactive cases where the County Administrative Board investigates whether operators should be registered in the National Board of Trade’s register against money laundering. You will also work to ensure that registered operators are active and current.
You will participate in the annual suitability checks and handle cases involving the suitability assessment of management and beneficial owners. We also actively work on information campaigns to ensure operators are aware of money laundering regulations. This work involves various initiatives, such as sending out relevant information and surveys, as well as answering questions and phone calls from operators.
Are you the one we are looking for?
For this role, you must have:
- Active studies in law (leading to 270 higher education credits upon completion) and have completed at least two terms of your education.
- Very good ability to express yourself clearly and pedagogically, both orally and in writing, in Swedish.

Furthermore, you are solution-oriented and flexible, receptive, unpretentious, and helpful. You have the ability to evaluate information to make correct, balanced, and legally secure assessments and prioritizations. In addition, you have very good collaboration skills, high integrity, personal maturity, and the willingness and ability to contribute to a good working environment.

- Have the ability to make decisions based on a holistic view, taking several perspectives into account.

- Have the ability to prioritize and adapt to work with new tasks or in new contexts.
It is meritorious if you have
- Current experience in case handling.
- Current experience in administration.
- Current experience in supervisory work.
- Current experience in tasks within the service sector.

Employment
- Number of positions: 1–3
- Type of employment: Special fixed-term employment for 4 months, September 2026–December 2026, with a possible extension.
- Scope: Part-time, 20%, with the possibility to adjust the schedule based on study needs.
About us
We work in centrally located premises in Stockholm. Remote work options are available based on operational needs. Currently, approximately 110 employees work at the Legal Affairs Division.
