About the workplace
Surteskolan is looking for an Operations Coordinator! Surteskolan is a school for grades F-6 (preschool class to grade 6) located just north of Gothenburg. The school is beautifully situated on a hill surrounded by forest and has approximately 200 students. What distinguishes Surteskolan are our small classes of 17–23 students, divided into two work teams (lower and middle school), but collaborating across the entire F-6 spectrum. We are a small school with close-knit staff. Teaching staff, student health services, administration, cleaning, and catering are in constant dialogue to find the best solutions for our students.
Surteskolan is close enough to Gothenburg to be counted in Zone A with Västtrafik (public transport). The commuter train takes you from Central Station to Surte in 10 minutes.
Responsibilities
As an Operations Coordinator, you play a central and important role as a close support to the Principal. The tasks are varied and include, for example, issues related to finance, facilities, safety, follow-up, and systematic work environment management (SAM). The role also involves preparing analysis materials regarding quality, economy, and personnel. In several respects, you will be the face of the school.
The position involves supporting the Principal, teachers, and other staff in both major and minor matters to ensure high operational quality.
OBS: The work also includes administrative tasks as the school's size does not allow for a separate administrator position.
You will also be part of a network together with the municipality's other Operations Coordinators.
Qualifications
You have a university degree suitable for work in the public sector. Additional competence in pedagogy, economics, HR, and administration is meritorious. You are self-motivated, proactive, and can work both independently and in a team. You have good IT skills and experience working in various systems such as Stratsys, Personec P, and Unit4. Experience working with student and staff registration systems, scheduling, grading, absence systems, as well as statistics and analysis materials within the education sector is meritorious.

Other
The position is a fixed-term appointment as the school is undergoing a transition due to changing student numbers. Possibility of permanent employment exists in the long term.
A valid extract from the police record (criminal record check) must be presented, via digital mailbox by email or to the responsible recruiter when you meet in the final phase (the extract must be valid within 1 year).
