At Accelerator, art and research meet in dialogue regarding contemporary issues and challenges. The organization is part of Stockholm University, with a mandate to actively collaborate with society. Accelerator produces exhibitions featuring international and Swedish contemporary art, and arranges a public program of lectures, discussions, and seminars where artists and researchers participate. The activity is funded by the university and external grant providers. Currently, Accelerator employs five full-time and three part-time staff members, as well as a group of hourly-paid exhibition guides. Responsibilities

As a Communicator, you will, together with the Communications Manager, work with Accelerator's external channels as well as communication directed towards employees and students at Stockholm University.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a relevant university degree or equivalent in fields such as media, communication, art and culture, or languages. You have experience working operationally with communication for a public-facing organization, preferably within the cultural sector. You possess high communicative competence in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Experience working with social media and/or press communication is meritorious. You are social, have good performance ability, and find it easy to collaborate with different people and professions. Personal suitability is given great weight.

About the Position

The position is part-time (60%) and fixed-term for nine months, with some possibility of extension. Stockholm University applies individual salary setting. Earliest possible start date.
