Saab is now looking for a Facility Manager who wants to contribute to our success by managing and optimizing our premises and driving development projects. Saab is in a very expansion phase, and the property portfolio needs to be both expanded and developed to meet the requirements and needs of the operations. We are looking for an experienced and driven Property Manager / Facility Manager responsible for developing and managing Saab's facilities in Östergötland. An exciting role with significant personal responsibility and the opportunity to influence development in one of Sweden's most high-tech companies.

As a Property Manager / Facility Manager, you are responsible for managing and optimizing the operation of our premises, as well as leading new construction and conversion projects to meet the needs of the operations.

The role includes, among other things:

• Responsibility for the operation and maintenance of our premises, with a focus on optimizing functionality and cost-effectiveness.
• Development of an attractive and well-functioning work environment that supports the needs of the operations and promotes employee well-being and productivity.
• Coordination and partnership with internal and external actors, including suppliers, contractors, and clients, to ensure high quality and efficiency in deliveries.
• Budget, forecast, and outcome reporting.
• Initiate, plan, and coordinate the implementation of construction and renovation projects of varying nature and size, and ensure they are carried out on time, within budget, and according to the company's requirements.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are self-reliant, business-minded, and structured, with a strong ability to handle both technical and operational challenges. You are used to taking responsibility and have a natural ability to build good relationships with colleagues and partners.

You have very good communication skills. The role requires that you can handle different types of situations and personalities, so great emphasis will also be placed on your personal qualities.

This is what we expect from you:

• Relevant work experience of 5+ years in property operation/property management/Facility Management.
• Ability to handle projects from start to finish and navigate complex collaborations.
• Good knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation and building regulations, as well as industry standards such as AFF, AB, and ABT.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Valid driver's license (Category B) and possibility to travel within Sweden.

We would like you to have a university education in property operation, construction, electrical engineering, or HVAC. If you have instead acquired corresponding knowledge and experience through work experience or continuous competence development, we value that just as highly.

Meritorious experience:

• Experience from a supervisory position.
• Knowledge in rental law.
• Experience working on or with security-classified facilities.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the currently valid regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
