You will work with the installation and replacement of district heating and cooling distribution systems in all stages, with a focus on design and construction. This includes pipe construction, strength calculations, site visits, surveying, participation in pipeline coordination meetings, permit management, as well as preparing technical descriptions and quantity surveys. This means varied days involving both office work, some field work, and meetings with clients and contractors. In your role, you will lead yourself and others in a project leadership position in projects of varying complexity, depending on your previous experience.
You will participate in the development of the group, and we value collaboration and engagement highly. In many of our larger assignments, we help each other out, and collaboration with employees at other offices is common. The work is characterized by great freedom with responsibility towards both colleagues and customers. At our office in Stockholm, approximately 25 people work in various parts of the energy industry; in addition to the distribution department, we also have energy consultants within production and property.
Your profileWe are looking for you who want to take the next step in a developmental role where technology, social benefit, and collaboration are at the center. You are an experienced designer or constructor with several years of experience in district heating, water and wastewater, or other infrastructure, and thrive in a role where you can combine independent responsibility with close collaboration in project teams. At FVB, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients and other stakeholders, contribute your technical expertise, and help create sustainable solutions for the energy infrastructure of the future.
You have a relevant engineering degree, for example in civil, mechanical, or energy engineering, or equivalent experience from working life. The most important thing is that you have a strong technical understanding, a practical approach, and a genuine interest in developing together with colleagues and customers.
As a person, you are curious, solution-oriented, and responsible. You find it easy to collaborate, enjoy contributing to a good overall result, and have the ability to drive several projects forward simultaneously. You master Swedish well in speech and writing and have good knowledge of English. A B-driver's license is a requirement as travel for work purposes occurs.
