You will step into a key role where you help shape the next step for a modern data platform in a complex media environment. The assignment involves taking the platform from its current state to a modular, sustainable, and clearly defined target architecture, focusing on how data is ingested, processed, and made available for insights and further analysis.

Here you combine strategic architecture work with hands-on development. The platform is built on Azure and Databricks, with infrastructure managed via Terraform, and you will become the technical anchor point in a team undergoing change. This is a role for you who wants to influence both the technical direction and how principles, working methods, and reusable solutions are built up over time.

• You map the current state and develop a step-by-step target architecture for the data platform.
• You define principles for modularity, security, data governance, and infrastructure as code, and set clear milestones.
• You act as the team's technical anchor point and ensure the architecture is followed throughout the entire stack.
• You represent the data platform in architecture forums and collaborate with other technical functions.
• You contribute hands-on with code reviews, integrations, pipelines, and data modeling.
• You build reusable components, golden paths, and drive automation where it creates value.

• Extensive experience with public cloud and Databricks.
• Strong skills in infrastructure as code using Terraform and CI/CD.
• Experience in defining and driving architecture in a data platform context.
• Very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

• Experience with the entire delivery chain, from data ingestion to BI interfaces.
• Technical leadership experience within agile teams.
• Good ability to communicate technical choices and principles to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working as a data engineer in media organizations or similar complex information environments.
