ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will work in small project teams where, together with systems engineers, specialists, and project managers, you will develop and further develop complex technical systems. The role sits at the intersection of software, hardware, and system architecture, making it particularly suitable for you with a background in mechatronics.

You will work on both the development of new systems and the further development of existing solutions. As you grow into the role, you will gain an increasing understanding of the system level and how different technical components interact.

The work involves many interfaces and close collaboration between different technical disciplines, where you, together with the team, drive development forward – from idea and requirement setting to testing, verification, and commissioning.

The systems often consist of purchased hardware combined with in-house developed software, placing high demands on safety, reliability, and performance.

Examples of your responsibilities include:

• Working on requirements and documentation related to new systems and functions
• Participating in the analysis and evaluation of technical solutions at the system level
• Working on testing, verification, and further development of existing systems
• Documenting system design, architecture, and technical solutions
• Collaborating closely with software developers, hardware engineers, and project managers
• Participating in the entire development process from requirements to testing and commissioning

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Have a university or civil engineering degree in mechatronics, technical physics, electrical engineering, computer science, or similar
• Have 1–4 years of experience from a technical role where you have worked with both software and hardware
• Have a strong technical interest and enjoy understanding how complex systems function as a whole
• Speak and write Swedish and English fluently

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• Linux or Windows in technical system environments
• Testing or verification of technical systems
• Requirements management or technical documentation
• Development of complex systems with high reliability requirements

We believe you are curious, analytical, and enjoy diving into complex technical problems. You thrive in collaboration with other engineers and find it motivating to work in projects where many different competencies contribute to the whole.

You have an interest in systems thinking and want to develop towards understanding and designing technical solutions at an overarching level.
