SDC Automation is growing and is now looking for a Project Manager, or for you with a background as a technician or programmer, who wants to drive projects from idea to finished solution.

About the role

Building automation is a central part of future sustainable and energy-efficient buildings. Here, you will have a key role in developing and delivering modern solutions that make a real difference for our customers. As a Project Manager, you are responsible for the entire project execution, from planning and design to delivery and follow-up. You work closely with customers, technicians, and subcontractors, ensuring that projects maintain high quality, adhere to schedules, and achieve good profitability. The role is varied and combines technology, business, and leadership. You lead the work forward, coordinate resources, and create structure in projects. At the same time, you are involved in developing and optimizing control systems that contribute to operational reliability, comfort, and reduced energy consumption.

Your responsibilities

• Design and construction
• Develop project plans including schedules and budgets
• Ensure that project goals, quality, and delivery are achieved
• Coordinate technicians and support in questions regarding programming and commissioning
• Be responsible for contact with customers and subcontractors
• Lead or participate in tests, functional checks, and inspections
• Follow up on economics and manage project costs continuously
• Handle changes and additional work during the project
• Produce and ensure correct project and technical documentation
• Ensure handover and plans for operation, maintenance, and support

Requirements

• Upper secondary education in electrical engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience in building automation or a related field
• Understanding of project economics and business
• Good knowledge of control systems
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Fluent Swedish and good English skills, both spoken and written

Meritorious

• Experience in project management
• Experience in programming within building automation, for example Niagara
