Your role with us

In the reception unit, your main tasks will involve receiving new cases and providing counseling to citizens who contact us. You will serve as the first point of contact for citizens within the areas of children and youth, harmful substance use and addiction, violence, and financial assistance.

Currently, we are in the startup phase of our joint reception unit, meaning that working methods and development are ongoing. Your role in the reception unit, together with your colleagues, will be to provide citizens with support and guidance in an early stage in a simple and effective manner. The role also includes informing about social services and collaborating with both internal and external parties.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is secure, empathetic, and has a holistic perspective. Since you will meet citizens at all stages of life, it is important that you have the ability to meet different needs, as well as being flexible and able to handle difficult situations. Working in the reception unit requires that you can manage several processes simultaneously and that you thrive in a fast-paced environment. We want someone who likes to take responsibility, can drive independent work, and can collaborate with colleagues and various partners. This means you can take initiative and analyze information to find solutions.

You must have a degree in Social Work (Socionom). We prefer that you have experience from several different areas within social services. Experience from a reception function and/or experience from working with authority decisions is an advantage. Experience with IT systems such as Lifecare and Artvise is also considered a merit. You must have good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, and be able to adapt your communication to the target group. You must have a valid B-class driver's license to easily travel around our municipality when needed.

Kristianstad Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting.

The start date for the positions is by agreement.
