RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a Supervisor for Functional Support Services, Day Activity Centre!

We are a dynamic and engaged operation working to support people with disabilities to live a meaningful and independent life.

Our day activity centre offers a safe and stimulating environment where participants can develop their skills and interests.

As a Supervisor within our functional support services, you will work closely with people who have support and care needs, guiding them in their daily lives with employment and activities. Your work will focus on creating a safe and stimulating environment that promotes their development and well-being.

  • Support and supervise participants in day activities through pedagogical working methods, clear communication, and a structured approach.
  • Establish and develop individual implementation plans together with participants based on their needs, conditions, and goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other professional groups to create a holistic view of participants' needs and ensure coordinated care.
  • Create a safe and stimulating environment that promotes participants' development, participation, and well-being.
  • Document, follow up, and evaluate participants' development and progress.
  • Support participants in their need for personal care and daily activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have documented education in Functional Support (LSS), Social/Special Pedagogy, or other pedagogical education deemed suitable by the employer.

  • You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
  • You have a B driver's license and can drive the operation's minibus.
  • You have practical experience with documentation and working with implementation plans, preferably in LifeCare.
  • You have theoretical and practical knowledge of pedagogical working methods, low-affective handling, and structured working methods.
  • You have previously had delegation and can perform a new delegation test together with a nurse.
  • You have knowledge of quality assurance and patient safety, as well as experience in reporting and handling deviations and incidents.
  • You have a good ability to work in a team and collaborate with colleagues and other professional groups.
  • You have good communication skills and can create safe and trusting relationships with participants.
  • You have care knowledge and experience working with people who have epilepsy, medical needs, and needs for technical aids.
  • You have experience working with people with various disabilities and diagnoses, for example: Autism and autism-like conditions, Intellectual disability, Physical disability, Mental disability.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • You have experience working within functional support services.
  • You have knowledge and experience in performing tactile stimulation.
  • You have knowledge of sign language support and other communication aids.
