Aspnässkolan is a preschool to grade 6 school with approximately 265 students, located in the heart of Jakobsberg center, close to commuter train and good transport connections. As a smaller unit, we have short decision-making paths and close collaboration between school leadership, staff, students, and guardians. Here, every student is everyone's responsibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Aspnässkolan is looking for an engaged Spanish teacher for our students in grade 6. The position is 10%, which corresponds to 4.5 hours per week. These hours include your fixed teaching time, planning, follow-up work, and trust-based working time. Since we combine classes and schedule modern languages with other schools, the teaching time is not flexible. Teaching takes place on Mondays from 8:10-9:40.

As a teacher here, you are responsible for laying the foundation for the students' Spanish knowledge through evidence-based teaching. You plan, conduct, and evaluate the teaching with a strong focus on students reaching their set goals. You help create a clear thread through the school year where students are carefully trained in independence, confidence in their own abilities, and knowledge acquisition.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Have a teaching license.
• Work language-developing.
• Have a conscious and professional approach to learning goals and knowledge assessment.
• Are skilled at adapting your teaching based on the group's needs.
• Build trusting relationships with both students and guardians.
• Actively work to create a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment characterized by high expectations and a calm working atmosphere.
• Are a skilled team player.
• Have good knowledge of students with neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF).
• Master the Swedish language effortlessly in both speech and writing.
