The Child and Education Administration works on behalf of the Preschool Board and the Primary School Board. The administration is responsible for preschool activities, school-age childcare, primary school, and adapted primary school. Our most important task is to give all children and students in Huddinge the opportunity to develop to their full potential in a safe educational environment. Here, all our employees play an important role in the implementation.

Långsjöskolan is a primary school with approximately 360 students, from preschool class to year 3. Around 50 dedicated employees work at the school. Here, you get good conditions to succeed in your important task. In the autumn term of 2022, Långsjöskolan moved into a new school building next to the Gömmaren Nature Reserve.

Together with Skansbergsskolan (years F-3) and Segeltorpsskolan (years 4-9), Långsjöskolan forms the Segeltorp principal area, which creates good opportunities for cooperation and development.

About the job

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach students in years F-3 during the period when two of our teachers in year 2 will be on parental leave. We want you to be well acquainted with LGR22, and that you have good experience in teaching in the school's younger ages.

You need to have solid knowledge of how to best adapt the teaching so that each student, based on their conditions, succeeds in reaching as far as possible in their knowledge development.

You are flexible and have good cooperation skills, find it easy to build good relationships and collaborate with students, guardians, the work team, the school's student health team, and school management.

You need to be a clear leader in the classroom and have the ability to create a work environment characterized by security, trust, and respect.

You see documentation and assessment of students' knowledge development as a natural part of your work. You have good ability for analysis and reflection and constantly develop your teaching.

We work with collegial learning, which means that you collaborate with colleagues to develop yourself and your teaching as well as the school's pedagogical work.

About you

We are looking for you who:

• Have a teaching certificate with qualification to teach in years F-3
• Communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Have good knowledge regarding the work of individualizing teaching, and have good tools when it comes to working with students within NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) and students in need of special support
• Have digital competence and can work in Google for Education
• Are a secure and clear leader in the classroom
• Have an organized and structured way of working
