About the job

Are you a nurse assistant (undersköterska) interested in creating meaning every day for people with dementia? Then a job with us might be the right choice for you!

As a nurse assistant with us, you will have an exciting and developmental job. Some days you need to be a detective, other days an actor. Every day you make a difference in several people's lives.

Villa Videbeck floor 2 is a special housing unit for people with dementia. There are four residential departments with 9 residents each.

We work based on each individual's specific needs and ensure that the individual's own strengths are utilized. We are now looking for you who want to work with us, share our values, and have a great interest in care for dementia.

Job Responsibilities

Together we work to create a safe and meaningful everyday life for each individual. We work with person-centered care, key worker system, social interaction, and provide support in medical tasks. You work independently, have good collaboration skills, and participate actively in our teamwork. Your work includes ongoing documentation and responsibility for implementation plans. We use the BPSD register with interaction plans and Senior Alert as tools.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are secure in your professional role and can work independently and in a team. Having previously worked and/or having advanced knowledge and education in the field of dementia is meritorious. You have a good ability to create security and to meet and understand people's individual needs. For you, it is natural to have a professional attitude in your work where you always put the person at the center. You are secure and sensitive in your professional role. You are positive and take responsibility for the operations. You contribute to a good work climate and to your own development.

Since social documentation and communication are important in your work, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish and good computer skills.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Requirements:

  • Certificate of protected professional title for nurse assistant from the National Board of Health and Welfare, or alternatively a certificate from a previous employer confirming that you had a permanent employment as a nurse assistant on July 1, 2023.
  • Proficiency in Swedish in speech and writing, as well as good reading comprehension.
  • Basic digital competence.

Meritorious:

  • Nursing and Care College Diploma.
  • Experience of similar work and/or education within dementia.
  • Experience of documentation.

Other

We are looking for a nurse assistant for a permanent position, 100%. The employer offers full-time work, but there is an opportunity for the desired degree of employment.

You will work scheduled hours day/evening/weekend.

Salary range: We apply individual and differentiated salary setting. For the position, the monthly salary is between 26,500 – 35,000 SEK depending on experience, education, and competence.

Start date according to agreement.

Selection takes place continuously during the recruitment period.
