The unit has a broad target group and includes the operations SIG Adults and Relatives Support, Vistet, and Västerort Youth Clinic.

We are now looking for a mentor/case manager for SIG Adults who will support and motivate clients towards a life free from crime and/or violent extremism.

Your role

As a mentor/case manager in SIG Adults, you will, on behalf of the investigating social worker and together with your colleague, create conditions for the client to succeed in leaving a criminal/violent extremist lifestyle.

You need to be secure in who you are and be able to support the person towards change in a respectful and empathetic manner. You need to be attuned to the client's needs and creatively help find ways forward.

It is important that you are good at creating collaboration both within and outside the organization.

You need to be able to work flexibly, with a solution focus, and have endurance because we know that change takes time.

Since the operations are constantly changing, you will also, together with colleagues, be involved in the work of meeting the new challenges that the operations and target group face.

Your skills and experience

For this position, you are required to have:

• a university degree that the employer deems adequate for the assignment

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• training in conducting conversations using MI (Motivational Interviewing)
• training in Crime as a Lifestyle
• worked as a mentor/case manager in SIG Adults or similar operations within social services

We are looking for you who are independent, stable, and a skilled pedagogue. It is important that you have a good ability to build relationships and collaborations.

Other

Probation may be relevant if you have not previously worked as a mentor/case manager in SIG Adults.
