ELFA Assistans i Sverige AB provides personal assistance to individuals with disabilities who wish to live an active and developing life. All operations are conducted with a starting point in the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) intentions regarding the individual's right to participation, self-determination, integrity, and influence. In the role of personal assistant to our client, a 15-year-old boy with support needs due to various neuropsychiatric diagnoses such as autism, ADHD, and intellectual disability, you will create a secure foundation. A key part of the job is to stimulate and activate the user to practice social interaction and communication. Your task is to enable participation in various leisure activities that create opportunities for learning, both at home and in outdoor activities.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children with disabilities. Previous experience or education as a childcare worker, youth worker, or similar is advantageous, but the greatest emphasis is placed on personal suitability. We want you to have a positive attitude, preferably with a humorous and playful side that can create joy and motivation. Guidance from parents will take place regularly based on needs and wishes.

The employment is a temporary hourly position on an as-needed basis, with shifts that may occur at any hour of the day. During the night, working hours consist mainly of waiting time (on-call duty at the workplace).
