About the job

As a personal assistant, you work closely with a person with a disability and provide the support needed for the customer to live an independent life on their own terms.

The work is always based on the customer's individual needs and wishes. Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• personal care and hygiene
• transfers and mobility
• cooking and household chores
• exercise and activities
• social support and accompaniment

No two customers are the same, which makes the work both varied and developmental.

We are looking for someone who

You are responsible, sensitive, and have a genuine interest in people. You are good at collaborating, confident in yourself, and able to adapt to different situations.

Experience in personal assistance is an advantage, but we place great emphasis on personal suitability.

At Särnmark, you will receive an introduction to the customer and training in the role of personal assistant.

About the employment

We offer full-time, part-time, and hourly positions. Working hours vary depending on the customer and may include days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Salary and other terms of employment according to the collective agreement for Personal Assistance (Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal).
