We are looking for a personal assistant on a part-time basis (70%) for a man living in Bagarmossen, south of Stockholm.

• 1 part-time position of approximately 70%, with shifts scheduled during the day, evening, and every other weekend.

We are also looking for:

• 2 on-call substitutes who can work as needed.

As an on-call substitute, you need to be flexible and able to work varying hours, including days, evenings, and awake nights. You will often work with short notice to cover for regular assistants when they are absent, for example due to illness, vacation, or other leave. Therefore, it is important that you are flexible and able to step in when needed.

About the client: The client has a disability and autism and lives an active and social life with many interests. Music, exercise, outings, and various activities are an important part of daily life. As a personal assistant, you will be an important support in creating security, participation, and structure in daily life. The work involves providing support in everyday life and accompanying the client to activities and outings outside the home.

We are looking for you who are responsible, sensitive, and engaged. Personal suitability is given great importance.

Tasks:

• Support in daily routines and household chores.
• Help with personal care, dressing and undressing, and meals.
• Practical support in the home and during activities.
• Transfers and some physical assistance may occur.

The shifts for the part-time position are scheduled as follows:

• 11:00–18:00 weekdays.
• 15:00–21:00 weekdays.
• 09:00–18:00 every other weekend.
• 12:00–09:00 every other weekend.

About you:

We are looking for you who are engaged, sensitive, and enjoy working with people. You are responsible, flexible, and have an easy time collaborating with others. During day and evening hours, there is double staffing, which means you work together with a colleague during the day and evening to provide the best possible support and security for our client.

The work involves manual transfers, which requires you to have good physical fitness. Since there are cats in the home, it is important that you are not allergic to fur.

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Scope: 1 part-time position at 70%, 2 on-call substitute positions as needed.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

Things to consider before applying:

To work as a personal assistant, guide, or substitute with us, you must be at least 18 years old. The age requirement follows the regulations regarding personal assistance, guidance, and substitution in the LSS (Law on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and the Social Insurance Code.

To work with children and young people under 18 years of age, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new rules apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extracts are ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
