During weeks 27–32, we are looking for a calm, reliable, and responsible person for night wake-care for a 5-year-old boy requiring extensive respiratory support at home.

About the role:

You will be responsible for night supervision, monitoring breathing, and managing medical equipment such as BiPAP, pulse oximeters, and oxygen. The duties also include positioning, basic care, phlegm management, and providing reassurance if the child wakes up during the night.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience caring for children with medical needs.
• Has knowledge of BiPAP, pulse oximeters, and respiratory support.
• Is calm, attentive, and confident in your approach.
• Can handle physical tasks related to care and lifting.

Requirements:

• Non-smoker.

Merits:

• Nursing assistant education or equivalent experience.
• Experience with respiratory issues in children.
• Previous work in personal assistance, LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), or pediatric care.

Working hours: 2–4 nights per week, by agreement.

Time: 22:00–07:00

Location: Väddö

Start date: Immediately – from week 27. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. The position lasts as long as the assistance assignment lasts.
