Who are you?

You are preferably between 25–40 years old and should speak and write Swedish fluently. You do not need prior experience in personal assistance as long as you have the willingness to learn! It is important that we click. I would love for you to have similar interests to mine, as we will be spending the entire day together – shifts are scheduled for 24 hours (with sleeping on-call). Over time, you will learn when you need to be at hand and when you should stay in the background.

About me:

I am a man in my 30s living in my own apartment in Upplands Väsby. I have a cerebral palsy (CP) which means my arms and legs do not function like yours; I get around using a Permobil and use human assistance for transfers. I speak without impediment (sometimes I might talk a bit too much) and can instruct you verbally through tasks. As a person, I have humor in most things, am unpretentious, and very considerate. I am very social and like things to happen!

I work 70% during daytime hours Monday–Friday. During the time I work, it is important that you are available when I need you, for example to pour coffee or when I need to squeeze in a toilet break between all the meetings. I value flexibility, and as a personal assistant, it is important to be flexible when things can happen with short notice.

As my personal assistant, you are my extended arms and legs, as it is you who keeps my life moving.

Having a driver's license is a plus! I have a large car in the garage that is automatic. Since I like spontaneity, it is fun to be able to jump into the car and do things when I am off! Otherwise, music and football take up much of my free time. I have a small home studio where I produce music when time permits. When it comes to football, AIK is my team, and I am present at every home match, singing my team to victory. I also follow the Premier League and Manchester United.

After-work events (AW) with friends and colleagues are something I rarely say no to. I also appreciate home evenings where we cook and sink down in front of a good series. At home, it is a lot of FIFA or Football Manager.

About the position:

80% (equivalent to two 24-hour shifts per week)

Individual salary setting, wellness allowance. Start date: ASAP.
