About the position

The client is a 12-year-old boy who lives every other week in Upplands-Väsby and every other week in Solna. The client is blind and cannot communicate verbally; he also has epilepsy and requires tube feeding. He needs help with everything in his daily life, such as personal hygiene and mobility, participation in activities, and assistance with meals. Therefore, it is crucial that you, as an assistant, are highly attuned to his needs and behaviors and can balance his activities in daily life.

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for you who are sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you and the client.

Requirements for the position:

• A desire to work with a 12-year-old boy residing in both Solna and Upplands-Väsby
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Good physical condition to perform heavier lifts
• Non-smoker
• Ability to be sensitive to unique needs and balance activities

Merits for the position:

• Previous experience in similar work
• Ability to take initiative regarding activities
• Experience with tube feeding

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, degree of employment:

The current form of employment is "For as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment degree of approximately 10%.

The working hours are scheduled for Wednesdays from 17:30 to 21:30. In addition to the scheduled working hours, there are good opportunities to work extra if needed and if it feels right.

Salary:

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other benefits according to collective agreement.

Start date:

According to agreement.
