Project Description

The project "Working Life in the Public Sector" is seeking a researcher. We are looking for a researcher to conduct a systematic literature review, assisting in searching, mapping, analysis, and drafting report materials. The project is time-limited.

Responsibilities

As a researcher in the project, you will primarily be responsible for conducting systematic searches and analysis of research literature in consultation with the responsible researcher and external actors. The duties also include compiling results, preparing text materials, authoring a report, and creating presentation materials. You will participate in meetings, assist in dialogues with other project participants, communicate results, and contribute to the development of presentation materials. The tasks are performed in collaboration with project staff and external partners.

Qualifications

A researcher is employed primarily for research and must hold a PhD or a foreign degree assessed as equivalent to a PhD.

Selection Criteria

We are looking for a person with a PhD in psychology, sociology, medicine, or a related field with a focus on working life. The PhD must be completed before the start of employment.

Scientific competence will be given special weight in the selection process. Applicants must have documented knowledge of quantitative research methods, experience with qualitative research methods, documented experience working with systematic research reviews and specifically scoping reviews, and experience in preparing text materials for reports, manuscripts, and presentation materials in both Swedish and English.

Given the research focus of the project, the applicant is expected to have experience with working life studies and issues related to work environment and working conditions. This should be evident in scientific publications demonstrating good competence. Experience with research involving state employees is an advantage.

Applicants must have good knowledge of English and Swedish, both spoken and written, and be able to handle digital system support for systematic research reviews, specifically scoping reviews, as well as understand, analyze, and extract relevant data from existing research. Applicants must also be able to communicate research results in both Swedish and English in various contexts to different target groups.

Applicants must also have documented good ability to work both independently and in a group with others. Personal suitability will constitute an important assessment criterion.
