Media relations, environmental scanning, and teamwork
As part of the press service team, you will work on planning, executing, and following up on external communication efforts directed at the media, to increase knowledge about social insurance and the operations of Försäkringskassan. You will write, among other things, opinion articles, press releases, and content for social media posts. The work is done in close collaboration with colleagues from the communications department and other experts within the agency. You thrive with both minute-to-minute operational tasks as well as long-term and planned media work. You will also be responsible for ensuring that media contacting the agency with questions receive fast and correct answers. The assignment includes supporting the agency's managers, spokespeople, and others appearing in the media with advice, factual background, preparations, and media training. Daily environmental scanning is also included.
You are creative and have a good understanding of the logic behind traditional and social media. You are curious and contribute to how Försäkringskassan's proactive media work can be strengthened. Furthermore, you have a good ability to explain complex situations in a simple way.
The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, who are to work with us, have a high level of security awareness. The position includes some on-call duties.

We are looking for you who
- have a degree from university/college in the field of communication and information, or experience and qualifications deemed equivalent
- have experience from similar work in media and communication
- have good knowledge of the external environment and understand events, wholes, and contexts in society
- have very good writing skills
- act on your own initiative and take responsibility for achieving good results
- have good organizational understanding and can translate this into operations
- have a systematic and meticulous work approach
- are secure and trustworthy, even in demanding situations
- have good communicative skills, both verbal and written
- collaborate effectively with others to achieve common goals
It is an advantage if you
- have experience from working at an agency or another large organization with high media pressure
- have the ability to create a useful network
- have very good knowledge of the principle of public access and confidentiality

Other
One position, a fixed-term appointment of 6 months with the possibility of extension, full-time, with start date as agreed. Some positions with us involve participation in security-sensitive operations. To be employed in such a position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) is required.
In accordance with Försäkringskassan's security guidelines, background checks are conducted in this recruitment, and employment with us may also involve placement in a security classification. Remote work is possible if the work allows. In this recruitment, work psychological tests may be used as part of the selection process. Location: Stockholm.
