Are you an experienced HR specialist with an interest in wage formation and wage reviews? Do you thrive on combining analysis, development, and advisory roles within wage formation and HR? Do you want to be part of developing processes and working methods in one of Sweden's largest organizations?

We are currently strengthening and developing the Labor Law and Terms unit. Therefore, we are looking for several HR specialists with different areas of specialization; this position focuses on wage formation and terms of employment.

About the role

As an HR specialist, your focus will be on wage formation, wage reviews, and terms of employment. You will work to ensure that HR activities are conducted in accordance with current laws, collective agreements, and guidelines, while contributing to providing the business and its managers with clear and qualified HR support.

The role includes, among other things, working together with colleagues to:

  • Conduct and develop the wage review process and handle wage formation-related issues.
  • Participate in wage mapping work.
  • Coordinate, train, and create support materials.
  • Contribute to increasing awareness of the employer's terms and benefits.
  • Provide advice to managers and HR colleagues on labor law issues.
  • Collaborate with key partners within the administration and the region.

About the Labor Law and Terms unit

Stockholm County Council's Healthcare Services (SLSO) is constantly developing and aims to make a difference for those we serve through restructuring, close care, person-centeredness, and competence supply. Employer issues are high on the agenda, and to succeed in our important mission, we need to continue strengthening our work to be an attractive employer within Region Stockholm and SLSO.

The Labor Law and Terms unit consists of eight employees and is led by the negotiation manager. Our area of responsibility covers the entire field of labor law, including wage formation and terms, where wage reviews are a significant part. We ensure that laws and agreements are followed and develop HR processes to provide the business and its managers with clear HR support. The unit provides qualified labor law advice to HR partners and managers within the business and trains in labor law issues.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A university education that the employer considers relevant for the position.
  • Experience working with the wage review process and terms of employment.
  • Experience from working with HR systems with a focus on payroll.
  • Experience in leading and developing processes.
  • Knowledge of labor law and experience working with collective agreements.

Meritorious

  • Experience with collective agreements from Swedish regions and municipalities.
  • Experience working with wage mapping.
  • Experience working with working time issues.
  • Experience working with wage statistics and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with the HR system Heroma.

In the role, you are expected to be able to lead the work forward both independently and together with others. You have the ability to understand the needs of different target groups, weigh different interests, and drive the work forward from a holistic perspective.

For patient-proximity work within Stockholm County Council's Healthcare Services:

  • A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
  • Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.
  • Requires, in addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The same requirement is guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
