We are currently strengthening and developing the Employment Law and Terms unit. Therefore, we are now looking for several HR specialists with different areas of specialization; this position focuses on employment law issues.

About the role

As an HR Specialist, you will work with a focus on employment law. You will contribute to ensuring that HR work is conducted in accordance with current laws, collective agreements, and guidelines, while providing the business and its managers with clear and qualified HR support.

The role includes, among other things, working together with colleagues to:

  • Develop and improve employment law processes and routines.
  • Provide qualified employment law advice to managers and HR colleagues.
  • Handle negotiations and disputes.
  • Coordinate, train, and create support materials.
  • Collaborate with key partners within the administration and the region.

About the Employment Law and Terms unit

The Stockholm County Council (SLSO) is constantly developing and aims to make a difference for those we serve through restructuring, close care, person-centeredness, and competence supply.

Employment Law and Terms consists of eight employees and is led by the Chief Negotiator. The unit ensures that laws and agreements are followed and develops HR processes to provide the business and its managers with good and clear HR support. The unit provides qualified employment law advice to HR partners and managers, handles employment law issues, develops processes, and manages salary reviews. The unit is located at Solnavägen 1e, Torsplan, Stockholm.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

  • A university education that the employer deems relevant for the position.
  • In-depth knowledge in the employment law area and experience working with collective agreements.
  • Experience handling individual cases, including rehabilitation.
  • Experience working with advice on employment law issues.
  • Experience handling employment law disputes.
  • Experience leading and developing processes.

Meritorious

  • Experience with collective agreements for Swedish regions and municipalities.
  • Experience working with cooperation agreements.
  • Experience working with working time issues.

As an HR Specialist, you will have many contact points in several parts of the business, which is why it is important that you have good collaboration skills and build relationships in a sensitive manner.

In the role, you are expected to be able to lead the work forward and work independently and together with others. You have the ability to understand the needs of different target groups, weigh different interests, and drive the work forward from a holistic perspective.

The position will be filled subject to it not needing to be taken for internal reassignment, according to current regulations.

In patient-related work within the Stockholm County Council (SLSO):

  • A register check is applied before a decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
  • Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required, in addition to a Swedish professional license. The same requirement is guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
