The Competence Development Institute Vocational College is now looking for a teacher/trainer for the Support Pedagogy (Stödpedagog) program. Together with the rest of the team, you will drive and develop the education forward. This work includes, among other things, planning and designing courses, teaching, and supervising students.

Good pedagogical skills, along with an interest in people and the industry, are essential. We are now looking for an engaged and structured team player with the ability to communicate clearly.

Work experience/background

• Pedagogical education - or other qualifications deemed equivalent by the employer
• Professional experience from the LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) area
• Experience working with children with mental health issues
• Experience with distance teaching
• Relevant post-secondary education, e.g., support pedagogy, social work.
• You have very good IT skills and can quickly familiarize yourself with different systems
• You have very good knowledge of digital tools and the most common Office programs
• Experience in course development

Personal qualities

It is an advantage if you appreciate varied and stimulating work and have a strong creative side. You have an eye for order and detail, can collaborate with others, and simultaneously work independently, making priorities. You have a good manner of dealing with people and a strong service mindset. You are quick and efficient, solution-focused, and results-oriented.

Employment type

The position is a permanent employment with a mandatory 6-month probationary period. Travel is included in the job approx. 1-2 times/month – overnight stays may occur. The travel is linked to teaching taking place at other locations as well as meetings within the organization.
