Attorney for Specialized Family Law Firm in Stockholm
Advokatbyrån Linton Kennegård ABStockholms län, Stockholm
Previous experience is desired
Linton Kennegård is a deliberately small law firm with offices on Birkagatan in central Stockholm. We specialize in advanced family law, complex custody disputes, cross-border asset division, and cases where international private law and multiple jurisdictions intersect. We handle a significant volume of cases with international connections, and this is where we are strongest.
Today, the firm consists of one attorney and one paralegal. We have short decision-making paths, a high degree of autonomy, and a culture where quality takes precedence over quantity. We are now looking for an attorney who wants to become part of what we are building.
The Role
You will manage your cases independently from the initial client contact through to judgment or settlement. Our core practice areas are custody, residence, visitation rights, and asset division, often with international connections requiring knowledge of international private law, the Hague Conventions, and cross-border jurisdictional issues. Our clients find themselves in difficult situations and deserve a representative who is both legally sharp and humanly present.
Competence in inheritance law, general civil law, and international civil law is advantageous.
What We Offer
- Qualified cases that truly challenge you
- A place where you are visible and have influence
- Short decision-making paths, freedom under responsibility, and great trust
- Opportunity to eventually, if desired, take principal responsibility for junior lawyers
Who We Are Looking For
- Self-motivated and confident in owning your cases from start to finish
- Sharp, legally curious, and creative in your problem-solving
- Unpretentious, professional, and easy to collaborate with
- Thrives where the law can be nerdy, complex, and fun
- Interested in helping to develop the firm further in the long term
Qualifications
- Attorney with experience in family law, preferably with an international focus
- Experience in litigation
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English – additional languages are advantageous
