Do you want to lead document control in one of Sweden's most exciting industrial projects?
We are now looking for an experienced Document Control Lead for a comprehensive and technically advanced energy and industrial project in Stockholm.
In this role, you will have overall responsibility for the project's document management and ensure that all technical documentation maintains high quality, is correctly structured, and meets the project's requirements throughout the entire document lifecycle – from creation to final handover.
You will work closely with project management, digitalization functions, engineering, contractors, and suppliers in a central role with significant responsibility.
Responsibilities
As Document Control Lead, you will among other things:
- Lead and coordinate document control within the project.
- Ensure quality, structure, and traceability in technical documentation.
- Be responsible for document flows from creation to final handover.
- Coordinate document deliveries between the project organization, suppliers, and contractors.
- Develop and improve routines and processes for document management.
- Ensure correct version control and archiving.
- Monitor document status, revisions, and approvals.
- Be responsible for the project's document registers, databases, and logs.
- Provide support and guidance to the project organization regarding document control.
- Participate in project meetings and cross-functional working groups.
We are looking for someone with
- At least 7 years of experience in document control within large industrial, energy, process, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience with final document handover in at least one complex project.
- Very good knowledge of document control, document lifecycles, and version control.
- Experience with EDMS or CDE systems, such as Aconex or similar systems.
- Good understanding of technical documentation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with digital document management and modern archiving solutions.
- Relevant university or university college education, or equivalent experience.
- Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Merits
It is an extra advantage if you have experience with:
- Digital Twin-based document handovers.
- International EPC projects.
- Additional languages such as Italian or French.
