Are you looking for a Business Controller role in a company with a strong focus on development?

Do you want to combine analysis with business-adjacent impact in a business area that is undergoing rapid development? Then this could be your next challenge.

Coor is now looking for a business-oriented and analytical Business Controller for the Local Care Business Area – a business area with high ambitions, a strong focus on development, and many exciting initiatives underway. Here, you will have the opportunity to help shape the future of business.

What will you be working with?

As a Business Controller, you will become a key business partner to one of the business units within the Local Care Business Area. You will work closely with the business unit manager and the leadership group, helping them turn numbers into insights, insights into decisions, and decisions into concrete improvements. As a business-adjacent support function, you will challenge, guide, and support the operations in creating good financial control and long-term profitability. You are also responsible for ensuring that reporting, key performance indicators (KPIs), and decision-making materials are of high quality and provide the operations with a reliable basis for decision-making.

You are part of the business area's controlling team, report to the Head of Finance for the Local Care Business Area, and work dedicatedly towards one of the business units. As part of a smaller controlling team, we collaborate closely and contribute together to development initiatives that strengthen the entire business area.

The business area is on an exciting development journey where new ways of working, businesses, and initiatives give you great opportunities to influence. In parallel, we are developing our reporting structures, analysis models, follow-up processes, and working methods for budgeting and forecasting. Here, you will have the chance to help build the future financial control in a business with a high pace of change.

A large part of the role involves supporting managers in their decision-making through analysis, follow-up, and advisory services. Many of our leaders are experts in operations, service, and customer delivery – your strength will be to make the economics clear, relevant, and usable in their daily lives.

We are therefore looking for you who are motivated by combining analysis with business development and who thrive in a role where you get to create structure, drive improvements, and make a real difference.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have an academic degree in economics, industrial economics, or another relevant civil engineering education, as well as at least five years of experience as a Business Controller or from management consulting.

You have strong analytical skills and extensive experience in financial control, follow-up, and business analysis. You are accustomed to turning numbers into insights and recommendations that create value for the operations. At the same time, it is your personal qualities that will be decisive for success in the role.

To thrive with us, we believe you:

  • have a genuine interest in people and business development
  • enjoy working closely with managers and supporting them in their decision-making
  • are pedagogical and can make economic connections understandable and relevant for different target groups
  • have the courage to challenge while building long-term and trusting relationships
  • are self-reliant, take initiative, and are driven by improving working methods and developing the business

You build trust by being responsive, unpretentious, and engaged. At the same time, you dare to challenge when necessary and are driven by creating development and results. You gain energy from making others successful and see the value in being an active support to the operations' managers.

With us, you will not just be the one who follows up numbers – you will become an important partner who contributes to developing the operations and creating better business.
