ABOUT THE JOB

We are now looking for a special needs educator (specialpedagog) for the Resource School (Resursskolan) and Finnback School (Finnbacksskolan).

The role involves working as a special needs educator with a focus on helping students achieve their goals, both individually and at the group level. This work also includes pedagogical assessments and the ability to mentor teachers in special educational interventions. You will work together with other special needs educators/special teachers in the municipality. You will also be part of the student health team, together with school nurses, counselors, and school psychologists (SYV). In Lycksele's schools, we work with the premise that the student is always in focus, and as a special needs educator, your role is to work on improving conditions for teachers and students.

Finnback School is a secondary school with approximately 420 students. We have 5-6 parallel classes and four work teams, one for each grade level and one at our resource school. The Resource School has space for 20 students in grades 4-9, where you will work together in a team with teachers and social pedagogues. The Resource School is located in its own premises at Johan Skyttes.
