Strandensskolan is looking for you, who together with all the school's staff, wants to work to create the best operations for our students.

Strandensskolan is a preschool to grade 9 school with approximately 212 students. The school is located in a beautiful natural setting with proximity to an all-weather running track, ski slopes, swimming hall, and more.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities involve planning, implementing, and evaluating work individually and together with other educators at the school, according to the school's governing documents and with our goals in sight.

You will conduct your own teaching and collaborate with other educators in the operation. As a teacher, you work to promote each student's development and learning. It is your responsibility to create good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

You are an adult role model for all students at the school.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a teaching license and eligibility to teach in grades preschool to 3, or alternatively, a degree that qualifies for a license.

To succeed and thrive with us, you need to have good collaboration skills, be receptive, and easily able to put yourself in other people's perspectives. You need to be secure in yourself, stable, and have good self-awareness.

It is important in the role that you have a well-developed pedagogical ability. You have a good understanding of how children and young people acquire knowledge and about different prerequisites for learning. It is also important that you are flexible and can easily adapt to changed circumstances in the operation.
